What it is

The General tab holds the organization's basic profile: name, website, industry, country, headcount band, and logo. These values appear in the organization switcher and in generated documents. The tab also contains the Danger Zone, where an admin can delete the organization outright.

Where to find it

Key actions

Update the company profile

Edit Company Name.
Enter the domain in Website. The field has a fixed https:// prefix; if you paste a full URL, Noru strips the protocol, path, and trailing slash and stores https:// plus the domain.
Pick an Industry and a Country from the selects.
Choose a Number of employees band by clicking one of the cards: 1-10, 11-50, 50-200, 200-1000, or 1000+.
Click Save Changes. The button reads "Saving..." until the toast "Organization updated successfully" appears.

Saving also tells the organization switcher to refresh, so a renamed organization shows its new name without a reload.

Hover over the Company logo area and click Upload logo, or drag an image onto it.
Choose a JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, or SVG file under 5 MB. Anything else is rejected with "Only image files (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG) are allowed" or "Logo file size must be less than 5MB".
The file uploads immediately through a signed URL and the new logo appears. You do not need to click Save Changes.

To remove the logo, click the X on the preview. That also saves immediately.

Delete the organization

Scroll to Danger Zone and click Delete Organization.
In the Delete Organization dialog, type the organization's name exactly as shown. The confirm button stays disabled until it matches.
Click Delete Organization. The button reads "Deleting..." and you are returned to the dashboard for whichever organization you belong to next.

Deletion requires typing the organization name. There is no undo.

Tips and gotchas

Deletion is permanent

The dialog says it plainly: "This action cannot be undone. This will permanently delete the organization and remove all associated data." Export anything you need first.

Only the logo saves on its own. If you navigate away with unsaved edits to the other fields, they are lost.

What Noru does not do

Noru does not validate that the website belongs to you, and it does not infer industry or country from the domain. Deleting an organization does not end your agreement with Noru by itself; tell support@noru.tech when you are closing an organization.
