Getting started

From sign-up to a working compliance program in your first week.

These six pages take a new organization from an empty account to a program that collects evidence on its own. Read them in order the first time; each one ends where the next begins.

The first week

  1. Sign in and, if your organization requires it, set up multi-factor authentication.
  2. Create the organization in the six-step wizard: framework, company details, context, billing details, and a first data source.
  3. Choose frameworks in Settings when the baseline from the wizard is not enough.
  4. Invite your team so control owners and reviewers can sign in with the right role.
  5. Connect data sources so evidence, assets, identities, and findings arrive without uploads.
  6. Work the readiness plan on the dashboard until Phase 2 reads complete.

Who does what

Creating an organization and the wizard need no special role, because the person who creates the organization becomes its first admin. Settings tabs such as Members and Frameworks are admin-only afterwards; connecting data sources needs an editor or admin. See Roles and permissions.
