Noru vs Secureframe: platform comparison

Secureframe is profiled from its own public pages, then compared with Noru where both can be evidenced. Unsourceable claims are left out.

What Secureframe says it does

Secureframe describes compliance, risk and trust automation backed by in-house compliance experts. Its framework page lists named frameworks rather than a total — including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, HIPAA and FedRAMP — plus custom frameworks.

Secureframe publishes a starting price for its Fundamentals tier and quotes Complete and Defense, a tier built for CMMC. Each tier includes one compliance framework, with more available to add, and AI questionnaire answers and Trust Center requests are capped on Fundamentals. Its AI features are branded Comply AI.

Customers choose AWS US East or AWS London for hosting, with further European regions described as coming soon. Audits run through Secureframe's Audit Partner Network, and its support pages say the cost depends on the auditor.

Which one fits

A quick way to evaluate which platform matches your compliance goals.

Noru fits when

You are an EU company, or sell to EU customers who require hosting in an EU member state, and privacy and EU regulation sit alongside your security frameworks: Article 30 records, DPIAs, NIS2, DORA and the EU AI Act on one control library.

Secureframe fits when

You want a published starting price to budget against, you are pursuing CMMC and want a tier built for it, or UK hosting meets your requirements for European data.

FAQ

Noru vs Secureframe questions answered

Talk to us

How much does Secureframe cost compared with Noru?

Secureframe publishes a starting price for Fundamentals and quotes its other tiers; our Secureframe pricing guide sets out the figures on the record. Noru does not publish a price list: it licenses the platform plus the capability packages your obligations require, priced per deployment, with a written quote after a demo.

Does Secureframe host data in the EU?

Secureframe offers AWS US East or AWS London. London is in the UK rather than an EU member state, and Secureframe describes further European regions as coming soon. Noru stores and processes every customer's data in the EU by default.

What is the main difference between Noru and Secureframe?

Where the data lives and how privacy is run. Both automate SOC 2 and ISO 27001; Noru adds Article 30 records derived from your code and EU residency for every customer, while Secureframe adds a published entry price and a CMMC tier.

Can we migrate from Secureframe to Noru?

Yes. Evidence is collected from your own systems rather than held only in the incumbent, so migration is largely reconnecting integrations, bringing across policies and registers, and re-mapping controls. We scope it during a demo.

Do you train AI models on our compliance data?

No. Customer data is never used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model — Noru's or a provider's — and every AI feature runs under zero data retention terms, so the model provider returns the output and keeps no copy of the prompt or response. Both commitments are contractual, in Section 4.6 of our Terms and Sections 3.5–3.6 of our DPA. Ask every vendor you shortlist for the same in writing.
