EU AI Act

The EU AI Act is the EU regulation setting obligations for AI systems by risk, from prohibited practices to high-risk systems and transparency duties.

Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 entered into force on 1 August 2024, and its obligations apply in stages. Obligations depend on the system's risk class and on whether an organization is a provider or a deployer.
