Audit and trust
Audit calendar
Coordinate internal and external audit dates without mixing their underlying records.
Audit calendar
The calendar at /audit/calendar combines date ranges from internal and external audit records. It supports
month and year views and distinguishes the audit type and status.
Use it for scheduling, conflict detection, leadership visibility, and evidence-preparation lead time. Open the underlying audit from the calendar to change substantive details; a calendar event is a projection of the audit record, not a separate compliance artifact.
Recommended use
- Add internal audit dates early enough to remediate findings before the external engagement.
- Record the full external window, including preparation and report-review phases where applicable.
- Check owner and auditor availability before confirming dates.
- Plan evidence cut-off and policy/risk review dates backwards from the audit start.
- Keep cancelled engagements for history when appropriate rather than silently recreating dates.
